Our Team

Jacob’s legal education began at Taylor’s University in Malaysia, where he pursued a dual-jurisdictional law degree, studying both English and Malaysian law. After two years, Jacob transferred to the University of Liverpool through a direct entry program, ultimately graduating with an Upper Second-Class degree.

Following his graduation, Jacob secured an internship with In-House Legal Solutions (IHLS) gaining work experience as a paralegal in the corporate and commercial areas of law. Upon completing his internship, Jacob proceeded to undertake his Legal Practice Course (LPC), and upon completion of this, has since returned to IHLS where he currently works as a paralegal in the Transaction Support Solutions department, drafting, reviewing and negotiating various contractual documents.

In his role as a paralegal at IHLS, Jacob particularly appreciates the open-plan office, which facilitates quick communication and guidance among team members.

Fun fact: Jacob went parasailing on Penang Island.
