Oisín’s Marketing Internship With In-House Legal Solutions

At the start of February, we took on Oisín Sahafian as part of the LJMU Discovery Internship programme. Oisín joined us in the second year of his Sport Business degree and greatly improved the marketing of the business.

The LJMU Discovery Internship programme aims to connect LJMU students with employers, providing students with the opportunity to discover their skills, talents and future prospects, whilst employers discover the value of taking on an intern in their business.

Oisín joined In-House Legal Solutions in February to work on the marketing of the business. We offered Oisín the opportunity to run our Instagram and LinkedIn accounts to boost our digital presence, as well as posting articles to our blog on the company website. Oisín undertook competitor analysis when he came in and identified improvements the business could make on both the website, and social media platforms. He produced and designed social media posts, including employee interviews, as well as a leaflet, which was brought to the LJMU Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair. In addition, Oisín helped with the design process in creating a new webpage for the current website.

Reflecting on his time with us, Oisín said, “From my very first day I felt at ease with the team at In-House Legal Solutions as they were all so welcoming and helpful when I had any questions. I am grateful for this opportunity that In-House Legal Solutions offered me as it was a chance to gain real working experience in a role that is a potential career path for myself, which I am certain will benefit me in the future. It was a challenging, enjoyable, and exciting few months working on the marketing at In-House Legal Solutions, as they are a small, local business with a lot going on.”
