Our Team

Ruby Clifford joined IHLS as our Marketing Assistant, having started with the team as a Marketing Intern while studying Business with Digital Marketing at Liverpool John Moores University. During her studies, Ruby placed 1st out of 280 students in the Student Social Media Internship, where she managed simulated brand accounts.

Ruby initially joined IHLS through Liverpool John Moores University’s Unitemps Discovery Internship Scheme, completing a three-month placement with the team. Following her internship, Ruby was offered a permanent role and now works as Marketing Assistant alongside her studies, supporting the team across content, social media, digital marketing, events and wider marketing activities.

Ruby has a particular interest in the strategic and analytical side of marketing, including understanding consumer behaviour, what makes campaigns effective and how businesses can use insight to make better marketing decisions. She is keen to continue developing her skills and experience as she builds her career in marketing.

Fun fact: As a child, Ruby competed professionally in dog shows with her grandparents’ Border Terriers, winning numerous competitions.
